Vacation in Mexico

I’m going down to Riviera Maya next month with the whole family (16 of us) and am looking for some opinions. There will be a lot of swimming, sunbathing and sunscreen, but there will also be some fine dining at nice restaurants. I want to take my Sinn 104 on the bracelet but the thought of playing with the kids in the pool & at the beach just screams scratching and sand. Do I bring the Hamilton Khaki or an old quartz Nixon on a rubber strap for all pool and beach activities and the Sinn for the nightlife? Is taking multiple watches on vacation normal? Maybe just multiple nato's? Any other tips on traveling with a second watch?

What a dilemma haha. I think about these things all the time when I go on a trip. I've brought multiple watches and only 1 watch before. Both have their pros and cons; here are my thoughts and what I ended up doing.

Pros to bringing multiple
You'll have options to choose from.
You can wear one on each wrist with different timezones!

Cons to bringing multiple
You have to worry about multiple watches
You need a thing to carry them around which may take up valuable space

Pros to bringing one
You'll wear it all the time and will create memories with it that entire trip
You don't need to worry about other watches
You can buy another watch :)

Cons to bringing one
You'll only have 1 option (unless you buy another one on your trip)

I was debating on bringing 3 watches with me on my trip to Thailand but ended up bringing just my SMP 300. My rationale was to reduce un-needed stress. Less stress = better trip. It did everything with me; dinner, hikes, swimming, snorkeling, beside clock. I ended up buying a G-Shock there and rocked one watch on each wrist lol.

Unless you're bringing a security detail, and you're probably not, this is my reccomended watch-

$15 Casio water resistant.

Here's the watch I'd take to Mexico-

Because neither me or any of my watches would be going that beautiful but terribly corrupt and dangerous country.

Same goes for most major US cities.

Wish it weren't true, but that doesn't make it such...

As a matter of fact i do that very often when i am out and about, usually an affordable piece, a chronograph both in the watch pouch, keep a diver on wrist😅
