Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I’ve bought watches over the years and always liked them. When I was a teen I fell in love with Tag Heuer. I have one now and that just steamed rolled into buying more and more. Im addicted 😍
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A Micky Mouse watch. I wish I still had it.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
My Tag Heuer X MARIOKART. I had previously shown my son a picture of the $26k MARIOKART tourbillion. My son saw my new watch and freaked out because he thought I just spent $26k on a watch. Maybe one day if I’m lucky and hit the lottery. 😉
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Buy what you like within the abilities of your wallet. If the deal looks too good to be true, it Probally is. Buyer beware.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Taso. It’s a local Maryland watch maker. They also have thier own in-house movement MD-1
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Tag Heuer MarioKart Tourbillion. It’s the kid in me. Besides I have the other two limited editions. Need to round out to have the full collection plus at least one tourbillion watch in my collection.
