This Citizen has been with me for 10 years now and was one of the watches where it all started. I think I will never forget how difficult it was for me to find this watch at the right price and it will not go away from the collection.
The left was my E-4 watch, and the left was my E-5. None of my Fossils or Timex seem to last longer than a month. I decided to take a chance and spend a little bit more money on a Marine Star. 20 years later, they still work
I do not have the first watch I ever got but I do still have the first watch I ever thought about or picked specifically because I had really started to like watches. The collection starter! Of course even then I told myself this would be “the one” and I was good about it for a while then I got a little outta control but now I’m firmly back in control. My newfound ability to resist a purchase may or may not be because of all the promises I made Mrs. Nicely in 2023 to secure the inventory I was able to obtain this past year. To be clear we are talking about hundreds of dollars, not thousands. 🌈
It's nothing special and my taste changed a bit since then, but it's very comfortable, has nice specs and I even got some compliments on it (the sunburst dial looks lovely). I want to keep it forever as it started it all for me.
I'm a MD from Mexico who has watches as a hobby and I have been collecting them for 15 years. All photos are from my humble collection IG: @greatgaspiwrist

Still wear it in the rotation. First watch I ever owned, Orient Mako Gen I. 👌🏻
This is from Sept '23, on the first strap I ever bought from CountyComm back in '07.
And I have used and will continue to use it for work too! #useyourtools 🤘🏻.
No, I've always had watches since I was a child in the early 80's.

No, I sold it because it was just sitting in the box unworn. Sold it for someone else to enjoy.
