I'm a MD from Mexico who has watches as a hobby and I have been collecting them for 15 years.

My grandfather and father are true watch enthusiasts, so they were the ones who introduced me to the hobby.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A vintage Tissot with a blue dial that my father gave me for my 15th birthday.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
When I was a medical student and earned my first salary, the first thing I did was buy a three-star Orient King Diver.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
When you start in this hobby there is so much information about styles, movements and brands that it is usually very complex. So I recommend living the personal moment and not despair over time you'll make mistakes that we all have to make.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Tudor, Longines, Tag Heuer, Certina and Tissot
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
I don't have a specific brand but my dream is one day to have a mechanical perpetual calendar with a chronograph, because for me that is the most interesting complication of a mechanical watch.
