Wow, what a beautiful collection with a lot of timeless classics!

As a 'budget' collector, the watches I aspire to are still generally pretty affordable, so my suggestion is something I'd imagine you could add to your collection without batting an eye.

I realize that I'm ignoring the instructions, and this watch might stick out like a sore thumb, but it's bright and fun and you can wear it when you're feelin' a little wild - the Brew Metric Retro Dial!

For now, I'd say it's my 1990 Mazda Miata.

Long-term, I'd probably say some permutation of a Porsche 911, like perhaps a 'Reimagined by Singer' one...

I'm really tempted to say Rolex or Omega, and I might just do that if this mythical magical thing ever happened.

On the other hand, there's something charming about the diversity, functionality and value of the brand I currently own more of than any other... Casio!

As at least one other person (benjpepe) has said, that'd give you G-Shock, Edifice, Oceanus, MR-G, and all the 'plain' Casios.

That's arguably a more diverse collection than many other brands could ever provide.

It might create a significant storage issue, though. 😂

commented on Apple Watch - do you consider it a "real" watch? ·

If you consider a watch to be a device that tells time, an Apple Watch is certainly a watch.

If you objectively look at an Apple Watch, though, it's really better defined as a 'an iPhone on your wrist' or perhaps even a 'computer on your wrist'.

For whatever it's worth in this discussion, I don't own one, and probably never will, as I don't really want my phone intruding on my life that much more...

I also love the immediacy, simplicity, and reliability of a wrist watch.

For me it's definitely dress watches, followed by chronographs.

I have a modest collection almost exclusively composed of dive watches, and a watch that bears some resemblance to a field watch, but no dress watches or chronographs.

I listed dress watches as the biggest 'gap', because I know that if I were to expand my collection, I'd get a chronograph before a dress watch (and I'd get a proper field watch before that, if only because of the potentially lower cost of a field watch).

In my mind, I'd be perfectly content to wear one of my existing watches in even the dressiest of settings.

Call me uncouth or gauche, but that's how I feel about it. 😂

Welcome!
Nice collection, I especially love the Speedmaster and the Brew Metric.
This is definitely one place where you won't get any grief for having 'more watches than you need'. 😂

Those are my three favorites as well!
