Computer game - DoorStrike
I'm thinking to build a new game where you have to navigate through a series of doorways, corners and uneven stone walls in a maze. When you door strike your watch you lose a 'life'.
The game starts with a JLC (JAEGER-LECOULTRE MASTER ULTRA-THIN SQUELETTE) and the watches get more chunky and clunky from there. Curious to know what people think the progression should be as the levels get harder - dome cases, proud bezels, fat crown guards ..?
I think they should be worth at least $1000.00 so that you feel it in the pocket as well as the heart when you hear that 'crack' as the watch kisses that hard, jagged surface as you're passing by..

I was thinking it might be a way for a movie director to score a cheap JLC, buy it as part of the production then write it off as damaged, then for the price of a sapphire repair you get to take it home and keep it
My thickest watches are the 15mm tall Vostok Amphibia with their shatter proof 3mm thick acrylic crystals so I should be good here.

I thought I was too but chipped my Tag which has sapphire (underwater on a dive) so I guess anything is possible

Sapphire is not shatter proof unfortunately and it will chip quite easily if struck at some angles.
This wouldnt happen with a G-Shock...but you would have to replace the door frame and surrounding wall from the impact! 😂😂
