Dogma Prima
I recently acquired this Dogma Prima wristwatch. It’s a Swiss
made watch that, I guess, was primarily distributed in Western Europe. I think this was a 1950’s era watch. So far, it seems to be running well.
It came on the typical Speidel stretch band that had been broken at some point and was soldered back together! I replaced it with a newish leather band that was in my stash. The crystal is scratched and has a crack so I’ll need to decide if I want it replaced.
It’s 38mm which I find to be a bit large for the era but works nicely on my wrist. I may wear it a bit and see how I like it before attempting any further repair.
