If it had a clasp similar to what you'd find on an Oysterflex or a Crafter Blue I think this would look pretty good. Those kinds of clasps really streamline the appearance of thick rubber straps. Since yours has the more traditional buckle and keeper design though it looks just a touch too chunky.

The keeper is enormous. I had one with a similar keeper and replaced it after first wear. I don't think I bothered to put it in my strap box.

It will sadly stay in my strap drawer. But on a thick diver I think it would work well.
I'll wear this Seiko on the original silicon or on a nato strap this summer

Looks WAAAY too fat for me - sorry buddy!
I've got some beefy divers with fat springbars but the very sturdy stock band is about half that ones thickness
