Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I bought a cheap timex weekender because I said to myself “I haven’t had a watch since I was a kid. I’d like to have a watch again.” After I got the Timex I enjoyed it and asked myself “I wonder what other watches are out there…” I’ve been stuck in this deep rabbit hole ever since, but I’m not looking for a way out. I like it here.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
I believe it was an Ironman in the 90s. I wish I still had it.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Go for it! Just do so responsibly and make sure you don’t put yourself in debt. Find something you like and go for it.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Omega, Orion, Long Island, Zelos, Sinn, Hanhart. There’s so many!
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
My unobtainable grail is probably the A. Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk. My obtainable grail would be the Omega Speedmaster because I am a big space nerd and it’s an obvious choice for me lol.
