First post on here, actually watches have become a part of my life, but only as a timepiece. It all started when my parents bought me a Q&Q watch back when I'm in elementary school. But silly younger me, i lost that Q&Q, moved on to cheap Casio, Swatch (it was free from a giveaway program), and a G-Shock (ended up broke the rubber strap for unknown reason).
It's been a few years since I forgot about 'conventional' watches and went for a smartwatches because I felt the features and price made sense. But a few months ago I bought a Seiko SNK623 which I was planning to give as a gift to my co-worker, the dial was really nice and i think that day window was unique. But on many thoughts later, i decided to keep the Seiko for myself and buy Casio with the similar dial and day/date format for the gift. I realized that i really love looking at how automatic watches ticking (or sweeping) and that day window is also something for me.
I also found myself less stressed without vibration and visual notification from wearing smartwatches while working. And later, i tried my luck to buy another used and vintage Seiko for cheap. It has some issues but i like the bilingual day window.
My next goal is to get a vintage Casio and reviving my older G-Shock to its better shape.

Nice! I also had a couple of QnQs when I was in elementary school and junior-highschool.😀

It was really subtle and cheap, unfortunately back then i didn't appreciate the subtleness of QnQ enough.😅
