So with the formate change to WRUW The new timezone for the start of a new WRUW day is GMT. So for us, a new WRUW day begins at 5:00pm the day before. Time traveling 😂

yes, I noticed a format change here
seems like day now has no end and no beginning? I’m just posting whenever my day begins, which is super random when I’m on call ☎
When there's someone in the surgery pavilion, but the watch addiction is so, that there's still a moment to take a picture of the (super cool!!) watch.
This watch is so cool 😎. You caught me with it when I saw it on WRUW the first time!
May I be curious? You are obviously working hard to save lives 💪🙏. How is it about hygienics and a plastic watch? Once I had a discussion with a surgeon in the fountain pen world after which he decided to pick copper and stainless steel fountain pens to work and put them under sanitation routine too.

Hey Andreas, Thanks! Yes, I'm in an operating room, which is a 'clean' area. But for my job, I'm usually not scrubbed in to the sterile field. Right now, my gloves are clean nitrile gloves, not sterile gloves.
My watch is about as clean as my skin. When I use alcohol cleaner or wash my hands, it includes my wrist and my watch, so it stays clean while at work. BTW - Plastic items can be sterilized and resterilized, if needed. Ethylene oxide is the system used by Sterile Supply/Reprocessing, but there is no need to send my watch there!
An aside, this is my only watch that isn't metal. It's a heavy strong feeling plastic with a screw crown, sapphire, and 100m WR 🙂. OMG we're almost done. 8 hour case. Going home soon.

I asked Max about it and he said it's still in the works. We have a lot of new members..pretty amazing growth. But not surprised
