Today I decided to wear my first ECO-DRIVE watch . Now a little story on this brand . Q&Q is a sub brand of Citizen . Aprox 15 years ago Citizen created the brand Smilesolar for Q&Q . The Smilesolar brand produces watches that use the Eco-Drive tehnology on the Miyota 2085 quartz movement . This brand is very popular in Japan for offering a solar watch for under 50 $ .

Have 4 of them and absolutely love them.
Build quality is perfectly OK for the price and all 4 are crazy accurate.

Just had a look on Amazon and they look quite Casioesque. That said they look good and have a Lorus like heritage. I'd happily buy one.

I discovered this sub brand when I was looking for a fun to wear watch (like a swatch). But I didnt like the prices for Swatch in my country. Then I discovered the Smilesolar. I was curious to see what a very cheap solar watch can perform . I enjoy my Smilesolar
