It's a Raymond Weil tango 300 gmt (quartz). And im aware that Raymond Weil use ETA/valijoux movements but even tho I've researched resilliently I can't find the exact calibre/model, and I don't want to open the case back because I don't have a watch press. Can anyone help?
Eta does make some quartz movements, but I think they are very rare. Since this is a quartz model, there is a good chance that the movement may not be consistent. Clearly, raymond weil is not proud of it as they do not release that Info.

The hand movement is super smooth and elegant, no 'bounceback' on the hand as it moves and it's incredibly quiet. So it's clearly not a *bad* movement

I think a lot of us in the enthusiast community forget about things like Swatch producing over 3 million ETA powered quartz watches a year.
So are Ronda movements decent then or just cheap Shite?
Most of these quartz movements can be found as a base movement for under $80 USD. Not bad. It will run 20-25 years with battery changes and case maintenance. Really accurate. Nothing to sneeze at.
Is there any writing on the caseback?

Nothing about the movement, just "sapphire crystal" and the water resistance

Wow.. I did 6 different Boolean searches and found nothing beyond “Swiss made quartz gmt”. There’s a first.
This is the closest I found which suggests it’s an ETA. Saw stories about other models that mentioned eta too.

This seller says it's a Ronda 515.24H.

Its definitely nothing like a Grand seiko 9f quartz movement,
if the watch is good for you then wear the heck out of it, but unfortunately it's a pretty cheap $15 movement.
