A stollen design from a stolen design… here is a 1980s manual wind museum dial “homage”. as we know, Movado also stole the design from Horwitt, who only received $29k after he sued them. the poor guy saw his design on clocks and watches everywhere, but pretty much never received true credit for his design.

Stollen design. Nice watch!
Before I developed a real interest in watches, I wore a Movado Museum watch. I just loved the simple look of the watch (still do).
A quick Google search revealed that the Horwitt design was manufactured by Vacheron & Constantin-Le Coultre in 1947, with the Movado knockoff following in 1948. I was never able to find out much about the authorized version - do you happen to know if it was ever mass produced?

I still love movado museum watches. I have a couple as well! And unfortunately as far as I know, there were only three of those models produced.
