My vintage Orient watches and my newest Re-issue.
Like a lot of collectors, I went through a phase where I got into vintage watches. I picked up vintage Seiko and Mortima but landed on 70's era Orient pieces as a favorite. As an early Christmas present my awesome wife picked me up the green dial Weekly Auto orient King diver from Long Island Watch. This piece is a 70th anniversary reissue from Orient. The original boasted 70m of water resistance while the new one is 200.
I thought it would be cool to take a "family photo" of it's long lost cousins for the 1970's. The colorful blue dial piece is the Orient Sea King and the black dial piece is the Orient World Diver. All pieces are compressor style cases with internal rotating bezels. Fun to wear.
