I hate daylight savings time!
Had to "spring foreword" a short while back and I finally got around to re-setting the time on all my quartz pieces. Discovered these 3 were dead as a doornail so being lazy I went to my watch guy to have him replace the batteries. Shameful, I know. All up and running again.

I never set my clocks to DST. I don't turn on DST function on my G-Shock.
So it's actually done you a favour in some kind regards. A dead battery can leak and screw up your movement. I speak from experience with a quartz Omega.
I'm a big advocate of just staying on DST permanently. The part I hate is re-setting all the watches.
We do not do DST here but our provincial phone company switches our time to the next province to the east for some reason for that extra hour by mistake all the time.
It is but I've amassed a sizeable number of them so it's lost it's allure.
100%!!! Threw me off with my G shock I had to look up how to do it and then filmed my own YouTube video for setting s G shock to help others out.
