Bringing out this special Casio Janus on day 93. Doesn't look like much, but pressing the lower left button gets you into calculator mode. No keypad? No problem. Just write the numbers and operators on the screen with your finger! One of the first handwriting recognition devices ever released (1983). A geek watch hidden in plain sight!

Quartz crisis gang. Grew up in the digital era so I've always had an affinity for Casios and the like. Now I consider myself more of a Casio watch historian, cataloging many of their pivotal timepiece...

Kind of crazy what they were able to come up with in the 80s. Shame that their modern lineup is devoid of these features.
