Support Ukraine through any means possible.

Thanks to ZuluDiver straps for doing this Ukraine supporting strap. 100% of the money going to help Ukrainian people who are now refugees thanks to Putin's War.

Many other companies are doing similar. Which is great and I'm definitely happy to show support for this country 🇺🇦 who are being bullied by Putin's Army.

I can't forgive him for what he is doing but I can't blame the Russian people in this either as they are as much victims in this as the Ukrainian's.

Sorry to be on a political soap box but this is important and needs to be stopped.

100% my friend. Absolutely unforgivable what he’s doing to those poor people. I hope no one forgives or forgets what’s happening and who’s to blame, definitely not the Russian people just a tyrant of a leader 🤬

On a separate note, what do you think of that Nite watch?

I’ve looked at those a number of times but wasn’t sure about the quality and whether they’d last the distance at my work. I sort of forgot about them until I saw you’re post, in the meantime I was looking at Marathon  watches, I like the toolish look of them.

I’ve got a good quartz watch, the Seiko Marine Master 300m but I didn’t want to wear that one to work, so I was looking for a cheaper alternative and it has to have tritium tubes.

Well I have two, both Icon's which is the pilotish one. The black PVD is a quartz version which I got in 2015 and use as work watch while on nights driving trucks so the tritium lume was a must and really good. It is loosing it's brightness now a little but still ok. It's taken a beating and is still going strong. Recently changed out the battery. First time it's needed that. After seven years and put it on a NATO for a change. The steel one is an auto and is comfortable on its leather strap though I may put it on a bracelet as I have a use for the black leather rivet strap elsewhere.

I would say the quality is good , not exceptional but they are certainly tough and a great work watch for the money.

They do a new diver style now which looks better finished than mine. But tbh this tool looking utilitarian finish was what I was after and it's been great.

I don't give the auto enough love or wrist time so I shall dig it out and put it in rotation a little bit more now.

I recommend them. Hope this helps. British design and office in Christchurch but I believe Chinese production.

As a practical measure I would go for the plain steel finish over PVD in the future. It has taken some heavy knocks Lok but PVD does show wear up more than steel I feel. Plus I really like steel brush finishing better anyway.👍

Thanks for getting back to me with the info buddy, most helpful. Probably would go for the steel version in a quartz for accuracy at work.

I think they have put a larger or at least brighter tritium lume in these now as well. Mine is fine as I said but the new ones are definitely brighter. I was going to go for on of their Hawk polymer case tactical looking pieces but what with the recent acquisitions can't really justify another quartz watch on top of all my current ones. The wife will only stand so much😂
