Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
My Dad always had nice watches, guess it rubbed off.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
I don't recall the exact model but it was a Rotary cushion case with a spectacular blue sunburst dial. Looked like a 70's Omega Speedmaster with the cushion case.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
They all have a little bit of something behind them but I guess my 857 UTC Sinn was bought by my self as a present to me for winning the 2015 Mobil1 McLaren Truck driver efficiency award, probably that.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Buy what you like and not what you think everyone else will like. Unless that's what will make you happiest, then do that.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Oris , Sinn , Citizen , Omega and Timex. But my favourite brand is Islander from Long Island in the USA and Orient Star.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Omega Seamaster 300 in black dial ( though the green one is really nice) it's my Dad's and I always loved it.
