First watch was bought for me by my father when I was 8. An Oris which I passed onto my daughter. Own 7 casios (5 gshocks). a seiko, my grandfathers rado Conway, a Wenger, and a few others. Love all watches especially affordable ones.
Loved watches since my first Oris at 8. As I age, I appreciate lowers end, working peoples watches more, but luxury brands still attract.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
An Oris. I think it’s a ladies watch, but it sat nicely on my 8 year old wrist.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
My father bought his father in law (my grandfather) a rado Conway on a trip,to England in 1973. My grandfather died in 1977 and I got his policeman’s hat and his watch. I miss him terribly.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Buy what you love. You like Russian watches of the 1960s? Rolexes? G shocks? Pulsars? All watches are equal if you love them.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Casio. Fell in love with G shocks. Wenger. Victorinox.
