HMT Anyone?
I am fascinated by the story of the Indian HMT watches. I’m eyeing a few in India right now. Does anyone have any expertise or opinions on mechanical HMTs? Does anyone have any experience with import charges into the USA through eBay?
These watches seem like such a neat conversation piece.

The ones that you can buy on eBay are refurbished, which is a euphemism for parts from all sorts of HMT models put together with a re-painted dial. As long as you aren't looking for authenticity or a valuable heirloom you can find a fun bright watch for very little. I bought one a while back and I think that it is a fun watch.
