Xmas gift from me to me

My first Tudor. Had my eye on the blue dial BB58 for months, but couldn't pull the plug because of all the bracelet fit issues I had read about online. Went on the Pelagos 39 wait list instead (a watch I also like a lot), precisely because of the T fit clasp. However, a few trips to my AD to check on the Pelagos availability, trying on the 58 again, and again...until i couldnt resist and went for it, hoping the bracelet would fit the specific way i wear my watches.

4 links removed and the right microadjustment, and it sits perfectly. Plus I enjoyed the 2022 price before that Jan 1 increase.

Im still on the Pelagos 39 list, I may very well get it (if i get that AD call) if I like the feel of titanium.

Can recommend one of these if you have any trouble. https://www.watchcrunch.com/TimeCop/posts/game-changer-22119

I came a hair’s breadth away from from buying the Pelagos 39 yesterday.  It seems like the perfect watch and feels amazing on the wrist.

In discussion with my wife, she reminded me that my collection is already diver heavy including the BB58 blue.  Instead, I placed a special order for a Cartier Tank Americain medium automatic.

These are very different watches to be considering side by side but both are definitely collection worthy pieces in their own right.

Wait, was the Pelagos readily available, in stock?

You're right, they're quite similar. I still want to try the Pelagos on wrist, though, and by then Ill have that yes or no gut feeling I reckon.

I’ve had the chance to see and try the Pelagos twice already.  Today it was in the case and available for purchase.  In Canada, btw.
