First nice watch

My first "expensive" watch. Citizen Eco-Drive - Model E111-K007297. My wife bought this for me 11 years ago for my first father's day present after our son was born. Still runs like the day I got it.

Solid!  I love my Eco-Drives.  I haven't seen your particular model before.  Thanks for sharing.  Looks like it can stop a bullet!  :)

That would be awesome. It won't be as amazing as some guys who's dad's or grandpa's left them watches that are worth a lot of money, but at least it's something with some sentimental value.

Hahah... sorry, I edited my message so people reading our exchange will end up confused.

I'm looking forward to the day I can pass down one of my watches to my son.

I cherish the Timex Indiglo that my dad was wearing when he passed away as much as I would any other high dollar watch. The value to me is in keeping his memory alive, not the actual watch.

Well stated. I hope to give that to my son!
