I think Giorgio Galli was inspired by this when je designed the Timex Galli S2. Stunning.
You must be right! I did not know Timex made such neat watches. I have to completely reconsider the brand, having just read about to their Swiss "atelier." I would assert that Galli clearly borrowed liberally from Gerald Genta's design, but with his own twist. A lovely allusion versus a copy. Nice!
Wow, very nice! Is it possible that Tag Heuer‘s recent glassbox design of the carrera was inspired by this?
Who knows? :) It was Gerald Genta's first design when he was 23. Has inspired a LOT of watches, including my Tudor Oyster Prince which is really a 1-to-1 knock-off!
