I've built this two with ETA, eta 2824-2 top grade and ETA/Valjoux 7751, it's a way different experience as NH movements, not saying it's worst or better but sure different 😉

Thank you for your info. I hope to build mods in the future with upgraded movements. Still on a learning curve...🦈

As I see in your profile, you already have the experience, the only difference to build a watch with ETA movement is less options to choose from, but after an advanced search, you can find unique parts, even if the price will likely gonna be little higher. On the other hand, the advantage is a better quality watch. You'll be able to see the difference right away. My experience is that ETA movements are more accurate then NH and the higher price for parts is also reflected in the quality of the material. One advice I can say is that as far as movement fits the case it's easy to find a spacer ring to adjust the movement in the center of the case unlike with NH movements which they fit the case usually without any additional spacers. I also have to admit that my basket on aliexpress is always full of parts, modifying and building Seiko watches is exceptional with so many variations that can be built at relatively low cost so I enjoy those movements as well 🍻
