Hello,
Gavin here aka the Darkoverlord as I’m known at Watchintyme and WUS. Pretty active at those and looking in here to see what it’s about. I’ve been into watches since as a 4th grader I was given a digital watch that turned into a Transformer robot. Since then I’ve always had to have at least one watch, rolling through Fossils as a teenager, cheap pocket watches for a little while and then the fever hit harder in my thirties. I like and wear anything from lower priced Seikos and Invictas to Omega and Breitling etc.

Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I don't really know why bit I've always been into watches.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A cheap digital robot watch as a kid.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
My gradfather's Benrus, the story is too long to tell here.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
if you see it and love how it looks and feels on your wrist, buy it and don't care what anyone else thinks.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
many.... too many. Breitling, Omega, Blancpain, Doxa, Squale, Oris, Zelos, Glashutte Original, Zodiac and on and on and on....
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
The Blanpain 50 Fathoms, full annual calendar with flyback chrono and moonphase. Why? If you've seen it you don't need to ask.
