DIY Watch Club Kit Vs Namokimods Kit: The Verdict & Giveaway!

Ok, time to be truthful. Who wins? You do! Both of these are great watches, and the kits are very well put together. The DIY pro tools set IS worth the extra money, but only if you intend on continuing with the hobby/obsession. Namoki on the other hand, keeps the cost down by only giving you what you need, in "no frills" style packaging. Only upgrading a couple of tools that are worth it, such as their hand setting tool.
The only really big difference between the two watches is the movements. The NH35 is the tried and true workhorse of the modding world, but it is not much to look at. The Miyota 8315 is worthy of a display case back and boasts an impressive 60-hour power reserve, however, I question its durability as a GADA watch movement.
In my opinion, the DIY kit would make the perfect gift for someone because of the beautiful presentation, you don't even need to wrap it. The Namoki kit would be a perfect gift for yourself, exactly what you need and nothing more.

The purpose of this video is to compare what the two top companies offer in comparison on a simple pilot-style watch kit. While the tools provided are amazing, they are not the only components I will be comparing.
