New Nodus Contrail 3 GMT looks outstanding

Well, they all dropped today, the four new colorways of the all new Nodus Contrail 3 GMT watch.

$825 gets you a jumping hour GMT movement in a sub 12mm case, lumed bezel, Los Angeles assembly and regulation, a tool less adjustment clasp, 200m WR, and quick release spring bars.

Wow.... I'm personally LOVING the Impulse.

Also, props to Nodus for not going the easy way on bezel colors. Making them white and blue/back or all black vs the usual suspects is neat.

This makes my choice of my 3rd GMT AGONIZING.

I met them at Intersect Dallasast year and got to handle a prototype Contrail v3. Super cool dudes who make lovely watches.

Looks great, but I don't get the box sapphire crystal. I associate (right or wrong) box crystal with more vintage looks, and the rest of this watch looks modern to me. Maybe I'm the only one, at least it isn't that pronounced.

Really like the look of most of Nodus' collection though. Need to crack and get one in hand eventually.

I have the sector deep and its fantastic. They really do offer some great bang for the buck and just make solid watches overall. Looks like another great release.

Boxed sapphires serve as more of a design advantage over those that don't have it. You are able to create a slimmer watch as the curvature from underneath the crystal opens up a lot more space for the hands, dial, and movement to sit. If you haven't bit on a Nodus, this would be the one to get! They killed it on this one.

I'll concede there may be an advantage in that respect. It just isn't for me.

Yeah. I have seen the prototypes too. It's a beautiful watch!

Just to clarify the drop is actually this Friday @ 9:00am Pacific, won't be surprised to see these go quickly.

We made plenty. We should have enough to go around!

They are really nice offerings by Nodus.

It’s a tough choice. I like the Terra and the Impulse. With the CUSMA agreement, I will not pay Duty, only our provincial tax. This is very attractive to me.

Love this watch, will plan to get one later this year or maybe early next year, I assume these are regular production pieces so after your initial run sells out you plan to produce more?

Won’t stop making it any time soon. Already producing more.

I cannot wait to get my Impluse Blue Contrail GMT. As a friend said, how could a jet pilot not order a watch named Contrail?

The Venturer GMT is fantastic as well. My Venturer GMT is currently my most worn watch
