This isn’t my taste, but I can under why it would be another’s.
I’m thinking about getting a black dial Couturier and putting it on a black PVD jubilee, so that the e bracelet gets the Lagerfeld AP look. Might either go for the 2836-2 version I saw on eBay or the C07.121 (of the “Powermatic 80” family).
