It's been a while since I've worn my Timex Expedition chronograph. The original beige leather strap is pretty nice but has a suede finish and sucks up dirt like there's no tomorrow. Rather than obsess over a fairly low cost strap that I can never get clean again, I decided to throw it on this 'deluxe' olive, burgundy and grey NATO from Cheapest NATO Straps.($7.99 never looked so good!😏)
Personally, I think that it takes this Timex to a whole new place and the combination looks surprisingly classy and much pricier than it really is. I like it, and I think that's what matter most to those of us who appreciate and collect timepieces, after all. It's all about the enjoyment, isn't it?

Me, too! There was another version available at the time with a black dial and a black PVD coating on the case, but the green dial stuck out for me. I think I made the right decision 😎
