I really like the Watch Annual. Nice to have a record of the year's hot watches, well-snapped and with a few words of appreciation on each by genuine watch lovers.
I also appreciate the fact it's not a huge, outrageously-priced coffee table book, like so many other watch titles.
You’re right - its good to have a capsule to see the types of watches that were doing the rounds for a particular year. It’ll be interesting to read in 10 years time to see if tastes and trends have changed
I have not bought the annual, but 100% on that rectangular and for Oris bringing this form-factor into their catalog.
I'll have to be the dissenting opinion here on The Watch Annual. Didn't really care for a "book" that's nothing more than reprinted Instagram posts, bad photos, typos, and grammar errors included. I wouldn't recommend.

I quite like the photos although I would question whether they are genuinely curated or whether their just his friends/colleagues
