Ricoh riquartz 570 a jem from the 1970s: part 2

Some more Ricoh quartz watches with the 570 caliber movement. The blue dialed and brown (catseye stone) dialed ones are from 1974. The white dial one is from 1975 and has the slightly updated movement (see photo). The only real significant difference is the gear train bridge and the capsule for the quartz crystal. All the components are interchangeable with the old version.

The 570 caliber was Ricohs second quartz movement, the first being the chonky 550 caliber.

The 570 was available from 1974 to around 76 when they were replaced with the smaller and upgraded 590 caliber.

I have yet to get my hands on a 590 but they are fascinating movements in their own right.
