Ricoh riquartz 570, a jem from the 1970s
Well this is my first post. Thought I might just bite the bullet and put something out there.
This is a Ricoh quartz caliber 570 from 1974. I actually have multiple watches with this movement. It's one of my favorite quartz calibers. Not the best, but I quite like it.
The movement has a ceramic circuit, a jeweled hacking pin and backlash finger. Just to name some of the unique things it has in it.
This one has a stone dial. I believe it is moss agate. I replaced the crystal with a standard plexiglass one. Original was a thick mineral crystal, hard to find a replacement one.

Yes post more! I have collected a number of Ricoh automatics but never a Ricoh quartz. Would love to learn more.
