Q: How did you get into watch collecting?

I was looking for a relacement for my watch I've lost after fourteen years of wearing, and I haven't stopped since.

Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?

MPM Quality Quartz, รธ30 mm, time only, luminous hands, unidirectional timing bezel, not water resistant, made of some cheap metal painted in peeling black paint.

Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?

No. I've had it, but I've lost it in a minor accident. It's a part of that story, which spanned 14 years and the watch withstood everything, including being dropped from a moving car and worn with a cracked glass for a whole year.

Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?

Seek knowledge and go slowly.

Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?

Casio, Seiko, Traska

Q: What is your grail watch and why?

Movement: Automatic, highly shock resistant and magnetism resistant, 10 bar WR, with a day complication. Case: Circular, รธ 36 - 40 mm, 10 - 12 mm thick, pleasing shapes, timing bezel that's simple to be dressy, lume pip. Standard lugs for strap options. Display case back possible. Crystal: Sapphire with ARC, domed (box or spherical) Dial: Sunburst green, applied indexes with good luminescence (something like Datejust or Alpinist) Hands: Cathedral or stick, equal width, good luminescence Bracelet: Tough and comfy, clasp with toolless adjustability. With the watch it should weigh under 120 g. Price: What I can save up in six months
