Old Quartz Bay Tree 3-hand date

This was the first watch I ever had technically... My dad gave this to me on my 15th birthday so it has a lot of wear and a lot of love! I remember wearing this watch through my shifts at my first job at a local pizzeria! Thinking of recasing this watch... any thoughts?

Doesn't the wear of the case tell as much about the watch as anything else? If you did decide to recase it, find a similar style case so the look isn't lost. Good luck!
