Feels like Serica is acting a little big for its britches, here…

I can understand certain things costing a bit more because they are high quality for some reason or another, but it feels like the more luxury a brand gets, the more they ask for things that are rather simple.

And the price of their (imo overpriced) Bonklip increased from €100 (iirc) to €139.

Serica is one brand that has a history of making questionable decisions.

I’m kinda vague on the whole movement situation they had art first, but it’s whatever. i can understand a brand trying to shop around for movements they were satisfied with.

Patek would charge you $2,000 for end links and only give them to you if they deemed you worthy after 3 interviews. 🤣

Not even joking, Omega keychains ranging from ~$150 to ~$300 for sale on its website. Keychains!

Yeah but stuff like that you can sometimes negotiate as a gift with purchase.

The movement was basically not good and rather than acknowledge the problems and fix them they doubled down and called it a feature.

Yes, these end links are definitely overpriced for what they are but I would argue that they do add a lot of value to owning a Serica in that they make the watches even more versatile and elevate their looks. So, for a one time purchase I don’t think the asking price is completely unjustified.

Yeah, but not *that* much value. You missed the $65 pin and buckle below it
