The SPB147 is more miss than win for me, but I still like it a lot

I still like my SPB147 and that's despite everything Seiko did to alienate me.

And that's only because with the right strap and in the right conditions, the SPB147 still has this "something" that makes me smile.

I picked this up accidentally as part of a bundle. I was aiming for the SPB143 since I have mostly monochrome dials. Something about this dial kept it around in my collection though. I think what did it for me was seeing it in the sunlight. I didn't think it was that nice of a watch indoors, but take it outside and it LIGHTS up. I have mine on the OE bracelet, but it does look good with leather here!

The gilt dial BB58? perhaps you are right, but I'm not really a potential customer for the BB and therefore can't say if the SPB147 can substitute a BB58 for someone who really wants to buy one.
