Getting in the groove

Anyone who's spending a lot of time in front of a PC should put some serious consideration into selecting a good desktop audio setup. Listening to music or podcasts while working on projects is very soothing and the difference between using a good audio set and a "not so good but it will do the job" is significant. At least it's significant if I want to feel rested and refreshed at the end of a work session.

The set I'm using now is based on an Apogee groove DAC and Sennheiser HD 380 Pro headphones. It's a good set which isn't too expensive, sounds good and doesn't look cheap. Pretty much like the Dan Henry 1962 that I'm wearing today. Both are Garfield approved and you can't beat this kind of endorsement.

The DH 1962 will never be a piece of high horology and it has some very annoying faults, but it's also classy looking and with enough vintage vibes to satisfy me. My model is sold out and I just saw on chrono24 that it's sold for about 400-500 US$, which is a bit ridiculous IMO.
