Casio GBD-200

I’ve had this watch for a few months now and I absolutely love it. The world time feature has been very helpful in my work since I work with people in various countries.

Cool watch! Do you use your for running (no phone), and if so, how accurate do you find it?

Awesome question, I also would like to know this. Couldn't find any information about it...

PS But the watch overall is amazing, I've ordered and can't wait for it to come!

Thanks! Would love to hear your experiences with it in regards to phone-less tracking when running, if you find the time! Thanks!

So I finally got my gbd-200! I haven't run with it yet (winter..), but I did some walking and comparing steps data to my phone and huawei gt smart watch. I can say it's pretty accurate: distance, speed and steps are similar (offline, no phone connection).

That's exactly what I need for running, so I can't wait for spring to test it in real environment

Thanks! I also got one, had a few runs with it and it seems, as you say, pretty accurate.

One thing I have found annoying with the watch is the Bluetooth feature. Although it could be helpful, I have disabled it. Too many messages coming through and not that helpful. By disabling Bluetooth, I’m sure my battery life will be much better.

Yeah, went another route and just disabled all messages (in the move app, if i recall correctly).

I have it in flight mode, but would prefer to disable bluetooth (similar but seems cleaner), how do you do that?

I don't think it's possible. I also use it in airplane mode.

I guess you can also simply "force stop" the Move app (android) to prevent it from connecting to watch

I'm on the same page as you. Airplane mode it is, since I suppose only stopping the app on phone will have the watch use battery for the bluetooth.
