It’s back: DEFY Revival A3648
One of the releases I’m excited about from watches and wonders is this reissue of the Zenith Diver from 1969 sometimes known as Plongeur or SubSea.
People were predicting a diver from Zenith this year and I’m glad it’s this one. With it’s unapologetic retro/futuristic/70s design it seams like it still feels at home in zeniths modern lineup. The new one is a slightly shrunk down version of the original which should work nicely considering these cases wear a little on the large size. It also has an improved water resistance of 600 meters.
It will be nice to have these as an option as there are less and less of the originals floating around due to time/production/bakelite bezels etc.
Had to time vitals…then bought another watch…then another…I like dress and vintage but usually end up choosing something that can stand up to kids, food service, firefighter EMT stuff and saltwater.

Zenith instantly placed themselves on the list with this one. I didn't like any of their modern takes, but now ... oh boy. That pop of color is just my style.
Now do I give up my Sub money for this or not? Haha
