Rust?
Can anyone tell if that’s rust in the tip of that spring bar? it’s on the opposite spring bar too (same side). if so I’m guessing it would be wise to change those for fresh ones?

Looks like rust to me.
For the price of a set of spring bars, why take the chance?
Even if it doesn't fail, it will stain that pretty strap.

Yes it’s rust!! Throw that watch away and put on a new one!! You might infected with salmonella or even worst Tetanus!!! Stat put on a new watch!!!
