Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I recall looking into mechanical watches. Which I had always thought to be far beyond my budget. After some research I found there was plenty of great watches that can be bought on a budget. So I went ahead and purchased my first mechanical watch, a Vostok komandirskie

Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Not really. All my watches are just bought on a feeling
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
I’d say if you are just starting to get into watches. Make sure to do lots of research. I’d also say do not be afraid to buy “homage”/ copy watches to get a feel for what you like. You’ll also want to experiment with different styles, sizes, and types. Videos, and watch videos are your friend. A particular favourite watch reviewer on YouTube of mine is Jody from just one more watch.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Nothing specifically. My window shopping tends to change from day to day.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
My grail watch is without a doubt the Hamilton “interstellar” aviation. I have long been a fan of the type b dial. And the Hamilton aviation is just an amazing modern take on the timeless design. The applied Indices, cool looking day/ date complications, and just overall design truly speaks to me.
