Nice to see CW picked up a prize, for their Bel Canto!
Amazing artistry, but only 2-3 I would actually want to own or wear.
I own one of them! Go CW.
This event is the equivalent of a Vivienne Westwood fashion show. It's more an example of what can be created & achieved than producing a watch of great beauty. The winners whilst incredible examples of watchmaking brilliance are rarely beautiful on the eye.
It's the lesser categories that are more suited for us run of the mill Joes & it's wonderful to see Christopher Ward pick up the Petite Aiguille award for the Bel Canto. What an incredible achievement for a couple of guys in their later years in life that got bored of basking in their millions & decided to have a go in the world of watches.
All great. Raymond Weil is a surprise. Don't know about Dior.
