The way GS dials play with the light is pretty cool. The texture helps a lot with that. The color looks like a totally different one, and it’s just incredible.
Also, in my inexpert opinion, I think GS dials should NOT have a date window, nor a power reserve indicator. Why invest all that time, money and effort in making those gorgeous dials just to interrupt its beauty with all the other stuff.

Absolutely agree about power reserve but dates on Grand Seikos are kinda ok imo. Better without but not a deal breaker.

Fair, I just feel like the best way to do justice to such incredible dials is by just letting them be, without interruption….
Not a deal breaker.
Power reserve on the other hand IS a deal breaker, for me.
