I saw one on eBay about a week ago week ago that this was a mod, but now I am reading it is a “re-interpretation“ of one of the early dive watches. Does anyone own one, or have any knowledge of it? I do not have any watches with blacked out cases, and I have been eyeing this one. Thanks in advance!

It's a 62MAS "Black Series Limited Edition" SPB253, released in 2022.

@Beanna is correct. That is an OEM Seiko, one of the countless 62mas interpretations, and a pretty cool one at that.

Thank you!
My brother has the 1968 version.
The orange details really stand out. Looks great with the included silicone strap or aftermarket waffle style strap.

Bullseye. The orange and placement of, is what caught my eye as well.
I made myself a mod version 😬
Gorgeous👍🏼👍🏼 what was the base, and what did you change? I am not familiar with Seiko enough to know the variables.
