Starting out with the Forester today. This is the oldest watch in my Casio collection and the second Casio I ever bought. Got it back in the early 90's at an Army PX. Got it to use as a field watch. A buddy had just gotten a Timex with Indiglo which was a new thing and this one had the same type light so I thought it was cool. I wore this one for years for drill and annual training. I threw it in a drawer and forgot about it at some point and found it again in 2017. The battery had gotten too weak to run the light so I changed it. First battery change since I got it in the early 90's, Then the strap broke so I found a cheap Nato on Amazon and and now its my yard working watch. They still make this watch but they have ruined it with the LED backlight. It keeps excellent time. I set it a week and a half ago and it is 3 seconds fast today.
Welcome to my WatchCrunch profile.
This always seemed like their version of the Timex Camper, which I don't think ever got Indiglo. I want to run to Walmart and see the LED backlight now.

Greg Anderson on YouTube has a video on these that shows the new backlight.
Ahhh this looks like the early model of their Forester line. They seem like good watches but now have a bulb instead of the electroluminescent backlight.
