Watch box appreciation: show off some of the best packaging that you have in your collection!
Ok first off: I get it. You’re a soooper dooper hoity toity watch enthusiast and you love the watch, not the box it came in. And the box isn’t the thing that convinces you to buy a watch. I can already anticipate all the snooty comments about how boxes are meaningless. So if that’s you - just move on to the next post.
This post is an appreciation for some of the OEM boxes and packaging that come with the watches we buy. What are some of the best boxes that you have in your collection? What makes them good or unique? Let’s see what’s out there!
For me: I’ve got to say Omega does a really good job with their boxes. They have a variety for different boxes and even their “standard” box is pretty well executed! Meanwhile Rolex and GS has some of the worse boxes. GS comes in paper boxes ffs!
