Be carefull, if I'm not wrong, the profile of the crown seems to showing "that another crown brand". If so, this watch is not what it want to show off. 😕

If the crown is indeed showing the Rolex crown, is the 2834-2 being used to fake a Rolex Presidential?!?
At least you know the movement will last you a long time and be easily serviced. 😁

Probably yes and searching to anything about that "T.S" mark in rotor, I found a site with "TS" that sell clones. I could bet you that also the movement is a clone.
edit: but about the movement you are right, even being a clone, it could work and be serviced.
The movement is either a genuine or clone ETA 2834-2, which in and of itself is a modified 2824-2 to show the full name of the day and date, instead of just the date or the 2836-2's abbreviated days.
Based on the logo on the crown, however, with regard to the watch that it's sitting in:
Thank you, by the way, for giving me an excuse to post this once again...
This watch is my father in law which he bought- according to him- many moons ago while visiting Hong Kong. And yes it's a fake crown brand and he knows it.
The reason I have it, it has stopped working long time ago and now he knows I'm into tinkering with watches he asked if I can fix it. So far I been to jeri g with Seiko movements and no ETA yet. So, I wanted to know from the pros here what is this freak so I can start ordering parts or replace it altogether

Maybe the movement is only in needing of service (disassembly/clean/assembly/lubrication).
But, if after inspection you identify that some part should be replaced, maybe buy a donor could be enough and cheaper. 😉

Check if the number below balance wheel is 2834-2.
Edit: I zoomed photo and seems its a 2834-2. So, its an ETA caliber 2834-2 😉

I think that its first gilded I saw. :)
obs.: 2824 is a date just and 2834 has date and a full day of the week at 12:00.

Here the ETA 2834-2 picture for comparison. Another level.

That is a very highly decorated version. Here is the cheaper Tissot version. =)

That version on ETA's site is a catalogue one (maybe CAD designed).
Yep! You have a point. 👍 @Bessio's movement could be an ETA 2834-2, but is still barely finished when compared whith that Tissot. 😀

I don't know if it's a clone or the real thing, I would lean towards it's a clone based on what you guys suggested.
If it's a clone shouldn't it be easier to get another clone?

Yep! But, anyway, in theory a clone has interchangeable parts with any of same model and the main difference is on materials/quality. 👍
