Choices choices choices.... Which field watch to buy
Hello watch lovers, quick debate,
Im looking to replace my Timex mechanical field as it broke and I'm looking at 3 seiko 5s two are part of the midfield range at 36mm the Seiko srpj85 and srpj83 the other is part of their 39mm field watches range SRPG27. Pictures below.
Also I'd like to add Hamilton khakis are 650$ above in my area so wayy out of my price range second hand not much better and I had the Bulova Hack but returned it as it was one thicc thicc boy.
Price wise I can get the 39mm one lightly used for 145USD and I can get the 36mm ones brand new for around 170$-175$USD.
Cant decide so I wanted to ask all your experiences with either or.

I like the tan one
For me, a field watch should have a black dial (just a preference) - more tactical 💪. From an aesthetic point of view as I have no experience in these particular Seikos, I like the SRPJ85.
