Some more macro shots - neo-vintage VC

I'm not remotely on the level of Horomariobro, who does some amazing shots on IG, but getting really up close to my watches helps me to appreciate it more. I'll try to do some proper shots with diffused lighting and I'll really clean the dial, but enjoy for now!

A beautiful stepped case in yellow gold with tear drop lugs. I love these small details that jazz up the watch. The dial of the black and salmon versions of this model have a guilloché dial, while the opaline dial is plain. I prefer the texture of this to give it extra character. It's really subtle and you only see it in certain angles.

Next up, the movement and first an overall shot This movement is based off of the historically important Lemania 2310. This is also in the patek 5070 and the original moonwatch (caliber 321 in omega speak).

Going in a little closer, you can see some parts at the bottom that are black polished turn very dark as the light reflects straight back to the camera.

This is a column wheel chronograph and you can see it there in the bottom. The small flat screw head looking thing with triangles surrounding it. This start, stops, resets the chronograph.

Image

Next, the u-shaped intermediate bridge. Sometimes this is y-shaped in this model. This holds the wheel that runs the minute counter and center seconds chronograph hand. Nice Geneva striping on most surfaces.

Large balance sheet ticks away at a traditional, slow 18,000 vph.

Thanks for reading! Anyone else have a Lemania 2310 based movement? Anyone with an Ed white speedy?

How about other beautiful chronograph movements?

Thanks! I probably should've taken more shots of the lugs and case.

Thanks, always brings a smile to my face. It's my first non modem watch and makes me appreciate previous gen style a bit more. Now it makes me want to hunt for a 90s Franck muller chronograph, an older Rolex, a vintage Cartier...

Thanks. I should take some pics of the start/stop and restart pushers!
